This year we are offering two separate English higher level Christmas courses to cover the vast amount of topics that are required for the leaving cert English exam paper.
The following topics will be covered during Christmas course 2.
1) Overview of paper 2. How to maximise marks in this paper and learn how to manage time on each question.
2) Single text-We will be looking into the single text section of paper 2 with an emphasis on King Lear by William Shakespeare. Extra notes on other single texts will also be available to students on request.
3) Essay writing tips as part of the single text will also be covered on how to structure and formulate a high standard essay.
4) Comparative: A look at all modes. Learn how to study for comparative essays and how its graded.
Key exam questions with sample H1 answers on all topics above. Our English course this year will be run by our resident teacher who has many years experience teaching leaving cert students to a very high standard.
